okay so we busted the lies. it didnt make sense anyway; $350 for crappy shit? i dont think so..
its $160 for crappy shit. and $220 for the average CCM vector 4.0 . hmm? i dont think i wanna get those though, they look
orbid. really.
anyway im not gonna get my hockey boots this year. if i do, i will be so stripped of cash i wont be able to do anything but stare at my skates in the comfort of my bed.
coz i dont want to settle for some average thing. why not stop and take a look at the rink? 3 out of 5 people who own hockey skates have the CCM vector series. id rather invest in something that would make skating enjoyable
last friday during my first lesson, i just happen to get lousy skates. they suck. big time. no wonder i couldnt skate. today, i got lucky and got a pair that fit well (not very well but at least betta than last friday), and i really practiced today. it was quality skating time, time well spent. i could do what i couldnt just a few days ago. but, the skates were for rent so obviously they were not of good quality. blades not sharpened. stinks. ugly.
BUT. i dont feel like rushing into buying a pair of skates. id rather wait till next year where i have more time to skate. i dont know if i will change my mind but i hope i will be able to concentrate on my studies. after watching the hockey match the only thing thats on my mind is ice hockey. nothing else. and its like, every moment is all fantasy, dreams about me playing ice hockey someday!

anyway, after talking to joseph (technology sports owner and ice hockey coach), weve (jaymie and i) decided to go solo. jaymie will get her boots soon and start learning from the coach after shes gotten her own skates. and he happens to have the same name as her dad (joseph ng) =D
as for me.. i dont think i can afford skates + lessons this year )=
dont think i will have the time either. so i shall save up and get the CCM 652 Super Tacks skates! i think they cost about $400. lesser than i would pay ($600). but i dont think it would be that wise to start off with super expensive skates, i rather go overseas to get pink boots x=
so they dont carry pink ice hockey boots in singapore. oh well. the guy told me i could spray paint on the skates though. heh heh. at least he didnt faint when i posted the question.
i fell just now and i really deserved it. after clinging unto jaymie for quite some time, i decided to try the crossover myself as her feet hurt and she needed a break. i fell immediately lol!
it hurt a lil at first but the pain went away fast. wore jeans ^^
we watched the match between 2 teams from the canadian association of singapore. it was boring coz we could only watch. i dont know why, but i just dont like a gurl ive seen a few times in the rink. everytime i think of her i push myself harder.
it works. and im going to play ice hockey next year. hey! look out for me =D
